Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Their responsibilities encompass a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring patient comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

• Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly check and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate.

• Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Patient Assessment: Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.

• Wound Care: Provide basic wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.

• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.

• Licensing: Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
